If you have a 2.8 and are sick and tired of how you never have enough power as well as getting walked by 1.8ts, I made a few videos to show what a PES g1 (side mounted supercharger with the unique ability to be intercooled) can do for you. I mean these (g1s) are so hard to find these days, I mean really hard!!!! but g2s are very available. So be original and stick with your 2.8.

The pull in 1st was babied for sure, but still....my buddy has a stage 2 bugeye wrx (up and down pipe-sti mid-sti axle back-CAI-stage 2 tune) that I walk all day long.

Also i recommend to any of the 2.8 people to upgrade to b6 s4 front brakes. Huge upgrade. Much better then the a8/tt looks and performance wise.

 

did you post this on az before..... i have seen these videos before.... how well would your car go up against a elim or small bt setup 1.8?

 

I hate audizine, so no I never posted them there before. That site is full of a bunch of ppl who say nothing but mean things such as Andrew149!

But when it comes to dealing with a 1.8 with an eliminator kit i have no experience. I have pulled a gti with a ko4 plus almost all bolts on (so a nice stage2+) and it wasn't that close, as in I walked.

The numbers are close when talking about a 1.8t elim, they have more horsepower I have more torque, but of course this is a generalization. If it was a stage III I would def. lose.

What do you mean by "small bt setup"? Like small "built setup"?

All in all the 2.8 is the red headed step child of the audi world but I STILL LOVE MINE. It is all about being original. How many people have b5 s4s or b5 1.8ts....everyone. Who has a b5 2.8 pes g1....i think there are three of us total.
