My A4
Lol. I had my "ladyfriends" dad check out my car, he's a service guy for bmw who owns about 4 BMW racecars and an S4. He said it all looks good, and for me to just take it to the Audi Dealer to get an answer on the AC.
I run 15w50 in my car - I would suggest that if you are chipped. But 10w30 will be fine otherwise.
Your AC might have a leak somewhere. Its a closed system so if you are low on freon then it has to have gone somewhere.
Sounds like a sweet car, man.. Congrats.<edited><editID>brrman</editID><editDate>38089.4874768518</editDate></edited>

thanks, the dealer told me to bring the car up next weekend and he'd get his mechanic to fix it. </P>
Also, the Auto Tech teacher at our school said he could replace my timing belt for the cost of the parts and like 15$ and hour. </P>

Either way the dealer was like well, if u change ur mind 4 other ppl have walked in here with checks ready to buy it.</P>

Typical tactic by auto salesman. If they actually had checks in their hand the dealer would have sold it to them. Who shows up to a dealer with checks ready anyway? They'll tell you anything to get you to buy right away. Even if it is sold, there are tons of A4's out there. </P>
yeah dealer cost is anywhere from $65-$85/h. TB change is listed as 7 hour job. Add inflated parts cost of about $300 bucks and you have $1000 job at the dealer.
The timing belt has to be change even if you do buy out a lease... its not covered under any maintenance pla either so you will eventually have to pay to have it done.
But don;t jump on a car cuz some salesman says he has other buyers. A salesman will have no regrets selling to a person if they walk in with a check, even if he promised you the car. If he says he has buyers, unless he a friend of yours, he's going to sell it to them as soon as humanly possible.<edited><editID>brrman</editID><editDate>38090.0700115741</editDate></edited>
