hey guys, i'm new to this forum and new to the audi world. i just got my first audi. its a '98 a4 with the 2.8 v6, 5 spd slushbox, and quattro. it also has every option available in '98.

Nice, but I thought that in 98 they did away with the Audi emblem below the sidemarker. My 98 doesn't have them.

LowA4, You just answered your own question. Your 98 doesn't have the emblems. You have listed in your sig that yours is a 98.5 and that is the first year they didn't have the Audi emblem below the side marker light. 98s had them yet.

do any of you guys know where i can get a widebody kit for it? i think it would look totally badass.

No kits, just RS4 fenders, quarters, and doors. It's definitely NOT a kit!

Cool tip on the Audi emblem timeline split...so I guess mine is a 98.5. Never really put much thought into that one, as my 96 has them and always figured they ended with the 97 model. Learn something new everyday.
