Question my car jerks when coming to a stop!

i dont know it just jerks, it feels like the engine is about to die or something, i checked the brakes.. they're good, tranny is acting funny when its below 25F. i got the engine sludge taken cared of, fresh oil, tranny flush was done about 3 months ago, anybody has this problem? i keep spending money just trying to get it to run normal

The tranny is just downshifting too early as you slow down. Make sure you have enough fluid. And maybe get it scanned

How can I check it? I can't find the dip stick for the tranny.

My sisters chrysler does the same thing. Haven't really figured a fix for it yet though

Might b a bad motor or snub mount if the motor is floping around it will jerk the wheels when droping into a low gear or hard acceleration in 1st and 2nd. Open the hood get in the car and watch the engine when u put it in gear, if it moves more than an inch ur mounts are warn another one u can do is accel hard from a stop with ur hands off the wheel if it pulls to one side ur mounts are warn it's called torque steer

Besides watching for engine movement how else can you tell if your have bad motor mounts, I have had a look at mine and they look ok to me. I get a similar jerking in first or second gear sometimes and I have annoying vibration in the cabin.

Is a motor mount replaced easy??
