Default My car sucks.

The TCM thought it would be funny if at 5k in 3rd, when I accidently get into the kickdown range, to throw ALL logic out the window, and proceed to downshift, right into 6900 rpms. After it proceeds to buck and refuse to shift. Go into N, and back into D, right back into 2nd. Then it all goes away like nothing happened. Go to see the girl, and hop back in car 45 mins later. Start it up, and immediately 3 beeps. LCD shows "Press Brake to shift". Turn car off and back on, no beeps, no warning.

Am I loosing my mind?

Something tells me its due to the alternator. I saw today its at 15ish volts with normal accessories, (no HVAC, no lights).

89 is NOT your problem... try driving through bumfuk south dakota... they have stations with ONLY 85 and 87... i didnt even know 85 existed until i drove through there. but anyways i was forced to run 87 ( i was just cruising, not hamming on the car) but everything was fine... your electrical problem is not related to what gas you put in your car. i dont recommend it, but dont siphon it out or anything 89 isnt that bad
