Default My co worker challenged me...

To a race. I didn't think he was serious at first, but as the night went on I realized he was. As you can see in my sig, I drive a stock '96 A4 quattro automatic (). This kid drives a '95 Honda Accord DX manual. For those of you who don't know, this car is a 5 speed with a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder engine pushing out a wopping 145 horsepower. I can't even believe I'm making this thread. I know my car is an automatic, but I feel like this shouldn't even be a question... who would win? He claims he'd take me. I just laughed.

I feel wicked lame making this thread, but we haven't gone head to head and I was curious.

are you guys gonna drag? tell him you can get to the mall faster or something. if it's a drag race he might be able to take you if he launches correctly. if tight corners are involved, you win for sure

That's what I figured. His car is probably 1k lbs. less than mine, plus it's manual so his launch would be quicker, but if it involved any highway driving or corners like you said, I know I could take him. We'll probably do a little bit of both just for fun. I know she hauls *** at higher speeds even though she's stock.

Hahahaha, that's excellent. I know it's illegal that's why I wasn't quick to get out there and drive. We'll have to do it somewhere safe. That's kind of an oxymoron, but oh well.

^ If you had a 1.8T, you'd take him for sure! LOL.

That's funny how he has a DX and thinks he's the fastest thing ever.

I am pretty sure you can take him. I whooped a 2001 Accord V6 that had intake and exhaust when I was driving my stock '96 2.8 FWD. Then again mine was a 5spd and the Accord was auto...

I'd be a bit more worried if it were an EX because those at least have vtec engines.
