My New B5 !!!!
2001 A4qm, silver, black interior
Single owner, factory sports package including 16" 10 spoke rims, sport suspension, sport seats, xenon lights
GIAC chipped, A8 front rotors, very clean, almost no sludge, meticulous records including a list of every single gas fill-up/MPG
the DV needs to be upgraded, need to install boost gauge, oil seeping past valve cover gasket - plan on replacing

My old car was totalled
I thought about salvaging it but it wasnt worth it

Really nice car. But one thing, how do you know there is "very little sludge"? Either there is, or there isn't, but there isn't a way to check unless you've removed the oil pan or have seen symptoms of such a condition...
I'm sure it's fine if the previous owner was that ****-retentive, but I was just curious as to how you came to your conclusion.

89,000 miles and change on the odometer. Timing belt and waterpump were done at 75k.
I would love to stick a nice exhaust with a high flow cat on her, but I dont have $800 to spend at the moment. Besides that I will probably wax the body soon, replace the braided lines with silicon, and maybe paint the calipers. When I get the boost guage and DV installed I will see if the N75J will add a little boost. My last car would put out 19psi.
My thoughts on oil sludge are as follows. My last car had visible carbon buildup that was visible under the valve cover through the oil cap. There was also was significant buildup in the crankcase ventilation line that runs back to the TIP. This car has zero buildup visible through the cap, and although the breather system is slightly different, the vent line was much cleaner. In any case, I need to rework my oil catch can to make it more effective.
BTW I actually like the seats! I dont kno if that remark was sarcastic or not, but I wont be selling them
