My new kickpanels
Picked these up from a guy over at the 'Zine for $100. I hated the fact that i could only squeeze 5.25's in the front doors, and i had been looking to either fab some kickpanels myself, or have someone make 'em for me.Needless to say i was pretty stoked about finding a set of kickpanels for the B5.
Not sure if i want to cover them in grey carpet to match the interior, or leave them as is. Either way, they make a huge difference and really help pull the sound to the front. I have Polk MMC6500's mounted in the kicks, with Polk DB5251 5.25" components mounted in the front and rear doors. Finish it off with a JL Stealthbox running 2 Kicker RMB8's, and Fosgate P4002 andP4004 amplifiers, and i've got a very smooth (and loud) system. Thinking of moving up to 12's - but we'll see.
Anywho - on to the pics:
