My transmission slips

Default My transmission slips

I put the wrong mass air flow sensor on my 99 A4 Audi now my transmission slips replace the mass air sensor with the correct one but transmission still slips what other sensor could I have blown

I'm not sure how the mass air flow sensor could cause the tranny to slip. Are you sure it's not just a coincidence they happened at the same time?

I agree, the MAFs would not cause a transmission to slip. MAF Sensor would cause a rough idle because it would be reading an incorrect fuel to air ratio. The transmission slipping has more to do with the clutches of the transmission being worn out, or having too much transmission fluid in the transmission.
