I just received a stage III k04 from g-popshop. the reason its stage 3 is because they built the turbo so the compressor wheel is 3 mm larger then the k04-15, so it will put out more power. they said the max hp the setup can pump out is 260-270 chp. I also bought a high flow manifold from 034, and a samco turbo inlet hose from awe (on sale for $127!)

i think ill stay on my k03 file until i put in a fmic and bigger injectors. then i will go get the hammer file.

If you have a vagcom, just watch the a/f and add more accordingly for increasing load. Also would be good to keep an eye on the iat and timing so you can make sure you are getting all the power you can get out of your money spent

 

im going to buy a laptop next, i just have my old desktop since i don't use my computer except for internet and writing papers and stuff.

i will get vagcom then. do you think it would be important to spend $200 and upgrade to the k04 basic file since i dont have vagcom?
