i just bought an audi a4 1.8t and installed a boost gauge (don't know if it is connected to the right vacuum line) but it says 20psi of vacuum and then when i get on it, the car will only boost to around 4-5 psi and sometimes spike to 8 but that is it. and also there are a few other things that i want to bring up.
1. when i start the car right under the mileage it reads "1n 2" what does that mean?
2. i need a front drivers side speed sensor at least that is what the car is telling me. as i am driving down the road a mph with a circle around it and a number 1 in the upper left hand corner comes on and then goes away and then abs is not working right either.

anything that you guys can tell me would be GREAT!! i want to get this car looking and running nice but need a little help with it.

 

If you are on the stock turbo then those numbers are about right. It is actually In 2 for inspection 2, which could mean a few things. ABS is is a common problem on these cars and speed sensor is an easy fix. Search this forum for specific questions you have and then get back to us if you have further questions.
