Default need help!!!

i just replaced my driver side and passenger side mounts along with both tranny mounts. my car still shifts hard into 2nd and 1st. kinda like a thunk noise. could it be the front motor mount? thats the only mount remaining. if it is i need some help on how to replace that one.
thanks

To replace that one u need to take the whole front of the car off just like you will do for a timing belt job
But if it shifts hard u should really change the oil in the transmission

Where does the "thunk" come from? Thunks while shifting could be a rear diff mount. I just replaced mine and was great. It's located about 1/2 way under the car.

I'm thinking the snub mount is to blame they can break apart and make noise while shifting

Well i only have a front wheel drive car so i dont know if i have a rear diff. I noticed while doing my mounts there was a small mount directly in front of the oil pan that had rubber cracking. Is that the snub mount?

You are correct no rear diff on a front drive and yes the one between the engine and the radiator is the snub mount a new one will cost between 5 and 10 bucks

That could be the problem. The noise does come from the front. I went to autozone and the front mount was 20 bucks so thats a relief. So i also noticed that my bumper is sticking out a little by the fender so when i take it off i can also try to re align the bumper. I will update my post and let u guys k ow the results. Thanks for the help
