Ill get to the point i have a worn out valve seal, i am burning oil on cylinder 3 injector(tip) is cove in oil and spark plug is black, i am having performance issues feels like timing is retard i checked and its dead on.

Would a worn out valve seal / guide be the main reason for this retard timing feeling?

am thinking car is pinging and car retards timing because it fouls my spark.

Am getting the head fix but i want to make sure that this is the main issue i want to take care of anything else while am in there.

No check engine light
No vacuums leaks (all new)
No boost leaks (stainless steel pipes)
Not the Maf (new)
Not a coil (97 audi a4 )
fairly new turbo ,waste gate opens closes.

so what else is left other than the valve issue ?

i feel like i got no turbo like am in a civic 1.5L sohc. i dont feel like i have 250 flywheel hp any more i feel like 80hp takes for ever to build up speed.

what do you guys think? valve seals for sure?

 

If you're not doing the work yourself just tell your mechanic to fix everything that's broken.

 

i do all my work. well expect head that needs to be send out no matter what.

so i guess its just that valve seal then..

 

am i still on your block list?
