Question Need Help With Choosing Timing Belt Kit

Ok,
I am ordering a timing belt kit for a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T. I know it has a split vin number and there are 2 different kits but i am not sure which one to get. Here is the vin from the car that I need to get it for:

VIN: WAUDC68D71A103816

Can you tell me if i need the early or late model timing belt kit? I need to know ASAP. THanks

P.S. I am pretty sure it's the early version but i wanted to confirm.

Josh

Just call the place where you are ordering and they will know without a doubt. I recommend blauparts. Whoever you are doing this for, do them a favor and do the crank and cam seals. The blauparts kit should come with them.

Blauparts FTW - some of the best prices around for t/b, and other audi-related kits. I just did mine when i did my s/c install - check them out
