So I used Quik Detailer (Meguiers) earlier today to get some bird crap off my car, on the top of the trunk lid and the roof. Also, some may have gotten on the rear window.

Anyway, now I'm waxing it. I go back to look at the trunk after I waxed, and it's all foggy and weird looking, as is the roof. And the back window looks all grimy and gross. I re-waxed the trunk and I did the roof too, and it still looks like *** a few minutes after. I also washed the back window, and it still looks weird. Any help? This is quite distressing.

These things could be unrelated, but I doubt it.

 

generally i would wax before using quick detailer. after washing i use windex to get out water spots which im guessing is why you used quick deatiler. im guessing the detailer and wax dont mix well. id first try to buff the **** out of it but if that dont work try washing multiple times. only use quick detailer in between waxing, not at the same time
