That's a great deal!

I've heard mixed reviews that seem to be directly related to how low people set their ride height, which I think is to be expected. If you buy cheap coils and then dump your car on them, the ride is going to be bouncy. They seem to be fine at what I would call "reasonable" ride heights though. I'm planning to buy a set myself this coming spring.

I'm not sure if you're referring to me, but someone on AZ went from Stasis S/S to Racelands and said the Racelands were better.

I think most of it was a placebo affect though.

the previous owner of the car put brand new shocks on it right before i bought it so they have under 5k miles on them. So shock wise i should be good and i have the ability to take the car into the base auto shop and swap the springs from the struts. so i'm only going to be needing springs, so with that in mind what options do i actually have with the 1.8t engine?

Tein, Nuespeed, H&R, Eibach, OEM, etc..etc...

Most of those brands have several flavors of springs. "Sport" and "Race" for example.

does the motor for it matter? just wanna make sure when i start looking again that shocks for a 6 cylinder or 2wd will work. im guessing the 6 cylinder ones will work but not sure on the 2wd ones.

Rear suspension between Quattro and FWD cars is entirely different (but the front is exactly the same).

V6 engines are heavier and thus the front springs for a V6 car will be stiffer... and when put on a 1.8T car will cause that car to sit high in the front. If they're coilovers then you could adjust for this height discrepancy.
