Audi 100 Quattro front lower arms.
Hi, the car in question is a 1993 Audi 100 Quattro 2.8 V6 code AAH. Its very similar to the early A6's so i hope this is the right section!
Anyway, i need to replace both front lower suspension arms, the problem is where the inner bush mounts to the subframe, there is a guide sleeve fitted.
Haynes and Elsawin state that i need a puller to remove the bush, haynes says i might need to remove the subframe to tap out the sleeve
The question is can i remove the inner bolt and collapse the sleeve with a chisel? this is a common method used on mk2/mk3 golf wishbones which i have done before.
Cheers for any help!
