Default Need more HP, need advise

Hello. I got an 99,5 1.8tq. Allready made: full free Milltek exhaust, big FMIC, K&N sport air filter. Chip. And had 204HP and 270nM of torque. What is next? K03/04 turbo? Injectors? What injectors to choose? Can I put em from S3? Fuel pump? What would be the cheapest way for clutch? Thank you.

I wouldn't be putting in bigger injectors unless your ECU is tuned for it. Look into a test pipe or HFC. A test pipe will yield a decent amount of power and lower spool RPM's.

You're making 204hp on the stock tune?

If you're going to go to the trouble to upgrade your turbo/fueling, I wouldn't bother with a K04. For a little more money you could go with a Garrett elim setup or Frankenturbo and make a lot more power.

Cheapest way to upgrade your clutch is to try to re-use the stock flywheel. As long as it isn't trashed, lots of places can resurface it for you and reinstall it with an upgraded clutch.

I suggest you PM Mike Hood (Mike-2ptzero)for both of these things.

Not to threadjack, but how much can the tiptronic 5spd handle? I remember reading somewhere on here that its around 350? Could someone verify/clarify what it is.

300 is safe and 350 is pushing it. The weak spot, as with most autos, is the torque converter. I think with the TIP the valve bodies in tranny could probably be better too. You can build a strong TIP transmission it's just that most enthusiasts thumb their nose at automatics so the aftermarket focused on manuals. Plus, manuals have cheaper R&D and are cheaper to manufacture parts for since they aren't as complicated as an automatic.

You should be. I'd definitely recommend fresh synthetic fluid and a fresh filter. If you wanted to switch to synthetic then you have to do a tranny flush with the fluid of choice since the tranny oil and the synthetic stuff won't mix well.

To do that im assuming drain old fluid, refill as much as possible with synth fluid, then drive it around for a day or so and redrain/refill as much as possible? Or is there an easier way to get all of it.

Many vr6 parts are better but I'm not sure if it's the same transmission set up since most vr6 cars are FWD.
