New Audi A4 Owner
I just bought a 1999 Audi A4 2.8L non-turbo 5speed. I'm kind of new to the whole fast car thing. My thing has been Jeeps. I have no idea what to do to this audi. It already has short ram intake but im looking to add some more Horse Power. Can someone give me some tips. I have like $2000 to spend
welp, the 2000 2.8 v6 is the 30 valve, which provides you with the option of chipping the ECU or slapping a supercharger on the thing. apart from that, not too many mods available for the V6. If you REALLY wanna make power, you're gonna have to sell yer car and buy a 1.8T, or a 2.7TT S4. I've heard talk of guys doing remote turbo setups on various V6's but it doesn't really seem like a viable option to me. post some pics, and welcome to AF
p.s. read the stickies at the top of the B5 section, they pwn.

HAHAHAHAHA......he said 2.8 in one sentence and fast in another.
Ok, first......read the stickies at the top of the page.
Second, if that still does not answer your questions......use the search button.
That being said......congratulations, there is basically nothing you can do to your car to make it "fast". Your short ram intake will not give you a whole bunch of power, many owners even suggest that the stock airbox, and intake set-up works the best.
Many 2.8'ers will weld on a Magnaflow muffler for sound or get a custom exhaust done, but again, you will not see much if anything in the way of HP gains.
