Default new audi owner

Just asking for a bit of advice and tips.

in 4 days time im picking up my first audi, its a second hand 2000 a4 2.4ltr v6 automatic, with 130k on the clock im getting it for 800quid.

im not a car person at all im in the IT/IS side of things, so ive had a test drive and it all seems fine and immaculate inside and out, partial service history which shows the current owner replaced the balljoints and timing belt last year, looking over the engine theres no obvious damage or botch jobs or leaks.

is there anything i should be aware of for this model , such as a known fault or any tips on the upkeep i should be doing to this car.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

change the oil no more than 5000 miles apart. Dont know the kilometer conversion off the top of my head. Other then that, its the same as any other car. Treat it nice and it'll treat you nice.

thank you for the reply's.

on a sidenote i am intending to start making the car look a bit more sporty, is there a uk site thats not to expensive for things like this.

After the test drive i was a bit surprised by how quiet the exhaust was for a v6 so i think that will be my first swap, then probably some diffrent alloys and my friend has told me about rs4 body kits, im a total novice when it comes to things like this and hes a total petrol head but hes all about the scoobi's, so was lacking in the where the hell do i go for audi parts

www.ecstuning.com is a good place to start for springs, body kits, lights, and such.

Sorry buddy, I'm not too familiar with the UK scene.

I'd say forget the body kit. Get some wheels and go low, you'll be set.

well i picked up the car thurs, after driving it now for almost 2 full days im loving it.

The only thing ive noticed is sometimes if im turning to the right and accelerating a little to much theres a clicking/ticking noise from the front right wheel area, any have any ideas what this could be?
