Default New Audi owner here

I joined the site a short while ago to get info on these cars and now I am a proud new owner of a 2001 A4 1.8t quattro. I just put a $500 deposit on it and now I wait for the paper to work to get sent to me. I got it for $6250 on ebay from a honda dealership in Ohio. Its got 81k miles on it so as soon as it gets here, to the garage it goes for the 80k timing and cam seal job.

After driving a 20 year old turbo dodge it will be nice to have a modern car with working A/C. I will miss the gobs of power and torque from the dodge but heated leather is pretty nice to

Here is a pic of it.

you sure will miss the power but you will appreciate the luxury and the handling. considering you're a power junky, you're gonna have to go BT. then you'll be even more glad you're driving this thing instead of the dodge.

I figure that I will likely get and exhaust and either chip it, or use a diode and an MBC to crank the boost up. I don't want to mess with it though until I have owned the car for a while and learn how it likes to be driven. It might not have the power that the dodge had but going from an old american fwd car to a modern European awd car will be a nice change and I am looking forward to it.
