Default New B5 A4 2.8 Quattro

I just purchased a 99 b5 a4 2.8 quattro. I am looking into modification right away but want to do things one step at a time. I cant afford a new turbo or supercharger setup right now but was wondering if there were any cheap hp gains for the time being or anything I need to do before I start. I got the car from a dealer it has high millage but drives brand new. The trans is solid all 5 gears shift smooth and the clutch feels good. Any info would help. I would also like to know what parts are interchangeable between b5 s4 and rs4's. I would really like to change the front bumper and breaks with either.
Thanks.

I just bought a 2.8 as well. There are no mods really worth the money other than a supercharger, and you can't turbo it easily. Most of the s4 parts are bolt on, at,east the important ones with changing. Search for the a8 rotors and tt caliper brake job, it's cheap and easy. You won't be climbing much on the hp scale without some money.

IS the PES charger really worth it? Is 300hp a holy **** factor in the car?

Going from 190ish to 300 is pretty holy **** these things aren't that heavy. I just wish i could find an exhaust for my 12v >.<

I have a 30v, and I thought it was a 12v because it wasn't that fast... Oh well, after I get some important things out of the way, I can start to actually work on my car. It cost me 380 dollars for tie rods and alignment.. I aint eating all week..

TREs aren't too bad, could have saved you a couple hundred with a DIY.

The 2.8 is not known for much performance wise. If you were looking for performance moddable, you should have got a 1.8T. Most of your mods will be cosmetic, make it look nice...

First things first though, MAINTENANCE BEFORE MODS!
