Honestly, this is one of the best forums out there. Alot of other forums have a rediculous amount of hazing and just seem unorganized. Our moderators do a good job with filtering and all.

i had a 96 Passat gls before my A4 and I would agree they drive similar. Just don't get in a patch of mud with your passat (or drive 70+ in the rain) because you will be saying goodbye to that car too

I agree with this statement. Though most of the forums I am a member of aren't car oriented, this one doesn't seem to have a lot of problems most of the other forums do have (such as trolling or moderator favoritism)

agreed there hah, this one is mad clean. even the other one i just joined looks bad, and i havent even had the chance to explore it yet. but yeah 70+ in the rain, wont do :P

It better be really low miles for the money. I figure you should be able to get a 2000-2001 A4 with 80-110k miles and quattro for like $6000

i got my 2001 a4 with 82000 for $8800!

I paid $3,300 for my 97 1.8TQM with 120k on the clock.

i may have overpaid for mine, but it was in perfect shape hah. i got the passat for $5300, 113k miles
