Default New Headlights

Just thought id share with everyone the new lights I just got.

Yesterday I got lights I ordered a few weeks ago from germany.

Paid a little under 270 USD with shipping after the conversion rate and got depo one-piece headlights, clear side markers for the 1996-1999 model and depo facelift fogs.

The headlights seem good quality. Info says “Glass” so Im not sure if that means they are real glass or not but Im putting hids in them anyways.

side markers stick out a little further than id like but at a distance they look great and im thinking i can cut a little off of them to see if it looks better

foglights look good, i still need to get wire and grills for them before i can install though

I havent finished installing the healdights yet (still need to cut a little bit of the fender) but I hooked them up and the output seems really good against my garage. Its only a few feet but the cutoff line is sharp and it has that little rainbow of colors at the line.

ill take some pictures tonight to show the output

Website is www.carparts-online.de, their customer service is great but if anyone is gonna get them let me know as the website is a little confusing.

Happy Holidays

i doubt that they will be glass fro $270, but those look like the aftermarket ones i had on my old car and i was really happy with them (mine were plastic)

just took some pictures, they look pretty sick.

driving home, i realized that i had them set way to high (up to the second story on houses) but i could still see the light clearly a cutoff one block down the street so overall im very happy with them.

on a sidenote, the orange corner light that goes on with the headlights isnt working anymore on my right headlight though when i turn the blinker on it flashes. anyone have this problem/know why this is happening?

here are some pictures after i adjusted them a little.

It's obvious your beginning to run out of blinker fluid.

O OK, I have no idea then. Loose wire? My same corner is out and in an attempt to tap it to make the filament connect, I smashed it.

I feel stupid, there are two filaments or whatever they are called in the bulbs and the one that stays on with the headlights died.

I just inquired about a set of headlights from them. Their prices are great, but shipping is a bitch!

They say their only two options are:

DHL uninsured 1-3 week delivery time = $78.00
UPS insured 24-48 hour delivery time = $170.00

How did you have your light shipped? Where do you live, and how long did it take?
