Finally got the courage to tackle my timing belt and replace my cracked oil pan. As it turned out it was a good thing as the siphon screen to the oil pump was beginning to gum up pretty bad. Didn't use any of the fancy tools Audi shows in the manuals. Just a little ingenuity and it all works great. Im not afraid to pull the clip anymore and that's the key to the whole engine compartment.
