So far, pretty good side with some good info. I've got a 98 A4 1.8T quatro. It's been an extra car in our family for a long time. I just sold my pristine 92 Porsche 968 (lots of mods) to start restoring a 74 911. It's got 46k original miles but has been sitting in a garage for the past 20 years. It started coming apart today.
The Audi has been a great car but it's pretty bland as it sits. It has become my DD for the time being and I'd like to at least lower it and I plan on painting the wheels (i believe they are the "sport" wheels) Nogaro Silver. Very simple, but it should change the look enough to keep me happy for now.
I found a guy locally (tampa) who has a set of used Tein springs. Typically I don't do "used" and would go for a set of Eibach springs. However, these are pretty cheap.
The problem is that I asked for the part number and the numbers he gave me don't seem match anything. Can somebody here make sense of this...???

Thanks for your help and I'll get some pics up asap. In the meantime you may enjoy my baby that I just sold....the #34 on the bottom is my track car.
