Yeah I noticed some nice white dusty stuff on them. Reminds me of what comes out of my steering wheel...

Which brings me to my next question guys. Why do I have strips of plastic and little bits of copper falling out from behind my steering wheel all the time... It also has white dust come out too. I have no idea what it's from, but it also makes a "bag of skittles" sound when I turn it more than 90 degrees.

I think I'm just going to get a new steering wheel, but this has been bugging me for awhile, it makes my car filthy within a couple days of cleaning the interior. So annoying.

I have a picture of it but for some reason I can't email it to myself right now...

sticker bomb it and lay down many coats of clear. i had my spank me sticker on my car for nearly 3 years and just started to peel a little at the edge when i pulled it into the dealership to say goodbye, i didn't clear it.

yes i turned my car in with the spank me sticker, no front fogs or fog grilles, tinted tails and a busted hood grille. they didn't take a single penny off the trade in amount because i'm a boss and asian. asian boss. write that down

Yu let's go smoke a blunt.

I don't want to lay down coats of clear because then it'd suck even more when I get sick of the bomb. I might bomb my winter wheels and lay down some clear, I was thinking of that today at work.

If I don't get the BBS for winter wheels.

Is it loose or anything? Not sure about the plastic, but there's copper contacts in there in a coupla different places and I don't know for sure but I *think* the clock spring is copper. You already have the sport wheel right? They show up online every now and then, mostly without airbags. Would be cake to re-use your airbag.

I'm going to take my steering wheel off today and maybe finally fix the problem. The back piece was cracked during shipping and it's gotten worse, so maybe that adds to the problem. I don't know.

Here are some pics from yesterday... Some of you have already seen these.

Thanks Chris.

Test fitting the 15mm spacers up front. I cannot wait to get the correct size bolts.

I have a lot of stuff to do for the car today, I'm pumped.

No no! I was referring to my steering wheel from months ago. The rack is rrrreal nice.

Alex that avant looked clean. I've never been a fan of santorin though, it's just a shade too light for my taste. We can be cousins though.

I fixed my steering wheel. I'm so glad, it's like having a new car. No more crackling sounds and it's smooooth as butter.

I took the wheel off and was greeted by some nice piles of cocaine.

Then I looked at the steering wheel...

My jaw dropped when I saw this hahaha. Still don't know what it was, but I dumped it all out, cleaned everything up and put it back together. Good as new.

Also just did a little research... I can pass inspection with my airbag light.

Now I have to raise my car tomorrow and switch to winter wheels.

Edit: Nevermind I lied. I CAN'T pass inspection with the airbag light. I might just go get a rejection sticker which will motivate my *** to actually get the light taken care of. Who knows!
