so my car was running really rough and i found out it was my mass airflow sensor so i replaced and while it was running rough it sounded like i had a bov and still had boost but when they were working on my car they said i had a turbo sensor that was bad and replaced it and now that it is fixed i have no boost please help

 

what the hell is a turbo sensor?

i know you are an 00, so you don't have a map sensor do you? did they replace the n75?


any codes? boost gauge?

 

no codes and do have boost guage i just have a boost leak
and thats what i said to the turbo sensor

 

tell them to tell you what the hell it is or you want your money back because there is no "turbo sensor" on our cars, have them show you the old one and new one

 

wouldnt the boost sensor be like the map sensor since thats reads manifold absolute pressure that that sensor is located right on top of the stock intercooler

i know what a boost sensor is, or map sensor, but they told him it is a turbo sensor, and i would have brought up that, but like kito i didn't think they had a map

 

i have an 00 and it has a MAP sensor if that is any help. its on the top of the Stock Intercooler. and idk if that would keep you from building boost unless it was leaking like crazy. i would do a leak down test. that solves a lot of problems
