Default No hot air from blowers

I have a 1998 1.9tdi avant, and the heaters are not blowing hot air, since owning the car i have replaced the t-stat twice, several coolant flushes which have been bled many times, new water pump and ancillary belt and last job was a new heater matrix. Since doing these jobs the car takes an age to reach normal running temp (90 degrees) and the heater never gets hot. Would appreciate any help.

you may have better luck posing this question on a vw form as most people on here are out of the united states and we dont get audis with the tdi's. but ill try anyways. first are you sure youre putting the tstat in the correct way? also i need to know where you live and what kind of weather conditions you endure. i live in a cold place and its not unusual for people with diesels to put cardboard over their radiators to warm the engine up since they run much cooler especially in the wintertime

im from the midlands in the Uk so the weather isnt anything major, and the last t-stat replacement was done by a vw/audi specialist so i assume its located correctly but cannot say for definite

^^i think a heater matrix is a heater core in uk? either way the motor would still warm up just without any heat. perhaps it could be coolant temp sensor?

It never gets hot? Sometimes mine doesn't feel hot until 83+ degrees.
