when I corner to the left i get humming in front end but not going straight so i am thinking that disqualifies the wheel bearings so what other options should i consider inspecting?

 

That doesn't disqualify the wheel bearing - it sounds like it's pointing to the right front wheel bearing as the culprit. Chances are the bearing's not that far gone, so you're only hearing it when cornering left and loading the right side suspension. Give it some time and it'll eventually start making noise in a straight line as well.
