Well my car now has the problem of horrible idle then cuts of which is preventing me driving it. Have no idea what it could be.....

Then I looked at the window sticker that came with the car and it say I have fog lights when I don't and that its prewired for the cd changer when it doesn't have one. WTF is up with this. I looked in the front bumper and there doesn't seem to be any wiring for it either....

 

check your tool compartment where the jack is for your pre wiring

 

the headlights have a h1 bulb in them. the fog lights connect to that bulb. pop the dust cap off and see if anything is connected to that bulb, or if you even have that bulb in there.

 

if you have preface lift one, then the fogs are built into the headlamps. and your car is prewired for cd changer and phone, its all tucked back behind the trunk liner on the left side.
