Default o2 sensor question

i feel kinda dumb asking this but, i searched for which oxygen sensor to get for a replacement that wouldn't cost alot, and found this result https://www.audiforums.com/m_350772/tm.htm, which helped, but i need a little clarification before spending money. Would any bosch universal 4-wire o2 sensor work? Or would it have to be the bosch universal 4-wire o2 sensor from ecs tuning? The one from ecs is roughly $100, but i found them on ebay for roughly $30. Would the ebay sensors work or not? Thanks for the help

The ones from eBay should work, as long as it's the same style as the OEM (ie, heated four-wire, etc).

are you looking for pre or post cat o2 sensor?

also, probably the cheapest way would be to head over to the junk yard and pick one up. $30 on ebay seems a bit cheap for me.

The Bosch part number is 15738. If you get a 15738, you'll be fine, no matter where it's from.
The OE part number is 13550, but that'll be the spendy one.
