so i got a oem roof rack snowboard and bike attachment for 140 bucks just wondering if thats a good deal and does any one know when i could get one of the rubber bottoms for one of the feet

 

Sounds like you basically stole it. Used OEM racks go for $200+ here on CL.

 

is it just the attachment or the bars included? if its everything then thats a very good deal

Sounds like the rubber foot thingy would have to be a dealer item, i just did a quick google search and got nothin

 

I've got 4 nice rectangle marks on my roof from the previous owner's roof rack. Blasted things!

Even after claying the paint, polishing and waxing, they're still there.

and yeah i called the dealer and they said that they didnt have it and didnt know what i was talking about

 

hahaha i got the same marks on my roof.. i def wanna get one for the winter and summer for kayaking..

 

awesome price. Really about the dealer though? wtf? Maybe try takin it in to the parts department and showing them? I find it hard to believe you're the only Audi owner on the planet who's ever needed one

 

yeah the guy was like ill have to cal you back and then when he called me back he said that part was not serviceable

 

I guess try calling different dealerships or source it online.

Although the rack is OEM, they don't come stock with the car. In which, it kinda makes sense if they don't carry a replacement part for it. Perhaps try aftermarket companies such as Thule (which is the company that makes the the OEM racks) or Yakima.
