oil
Yes. I was talking about how he knew something was wrong and insisted that Lucas would "fix" it.
For the oil to go below the readable level on the dip stick you'd have to lose ~2 quarts. That much oil doesn't just evaporate in <100 miles. Check the feed/return lines on your turbo, the oil filter/cooler housing, the oil pan, and your valve cover gasket. Also check the intercooler hoses (turbo to hard line, hard line to intercooler, intercooler to throttle body) for oil. It has to be going someplace. If there's no coolant in your oil or vice versa that means the oil is going bye bye someplace other than the block. Are you sure you filled the crank case all the way when you did the oil change? How many quarts of oil did you drain out? How many did you put back in?
so i did an oil change on February 12th,noticed my car was sounding funny, checked the dipstick and no oil,i got the oil change at 187831 miles am at 189819, is there something wrong with my engine.so i added two quarts of valvoline synthetic oil two days ago and i also added some lucas oil synthetic oil stabilizer and now i have some white smoke coming out of my exhaust, did i just mess up?
