so i was sliding my car around a wet parking lot. after a particularly g-force intensive slide the oil light came on. i know the car has low oil, changing this weekend and neglected a top off. its not dripping oil. possible i starved a sensor of oil and tripped a warning?

 

Drove home fine. I guess thats what happened. Hopefully I didn't shave off too many years from the engine!

 

My 97 used to do that all the time when cornering. Especially when it was getting near time to change the oil. Just top off the oil and keep an eye on it, shouldn't be a problem.
