Oil Pump!

I have a bad oil pump, How hard is it to swap out with a new one?

Hold your horses buddy, how do you know you have a bad oil pump? No oil pressure on a 1.8T perhaps? I would replace the oil pick up tube and oil filter before shotgunning an oil pump. Also search oil sludge threads.

i had carbon build-up on the motor and took it to a shop and they did a treatment and told me my oil pump is not puming enough volume into the motor and i should take it to the dealer.

hey did a treatment and told me my oil pump is not puming enough volume into the motor
Find a new shop or go to the dealer.. Auditech has it right - you prolly have crap plugging the pickup.
