Default Oil temp?

Hey,

I noticed today that my oil temp gauge in my cluster is always showing like 60 degrees C, thats the lowest reading possible...Even after driving around for like 30 minutes it doesn't seem to change.

Is it normal to have such low oil temps or should that needle be in the middle?

The fluid temps gauge works fine.

Thanks for the info.

Anybody have any ideas? Could this be bad?

I'd be worried if your gauge goes all the way to the other side lol. if your car is running well, then I'm sure you are good. Mine does it too...

It may have always been like this but I just recently noticed... It seems to always sit a tiny tiny bit above the minimum... Like you guys said at least it's not on the other side :P

I just went outside, and the guage will move slightly when powered up. I guess thats the "0" part instead of a dead gauge
