I might need to be corrected on this but I am assuming that gated controller has a ball and spring but will bleed out as well. And ball and spring type controllers will not bleed out. Monk you just hook the controller between TN and Wastegate w/o a teeright? Thanks for the link for turbosmart

TN? 'turbo nipple' on the compressor side? If this is what you mean, then yes . ..The MBC goes between the TN and wastegate. No need for a 'T'. Just plug the line on the TIP and your set. Stay conservative until you get chipped or go BT w/ software.

Cincytt,
Turbo Kraut said you have had experience with that one on your brothers car. Is the one I gota bleed style mbc? I know it says its gated on the web that I got it from but when I took the tee apart it had a ball and spring. I heard it exhaust from the mbc when I opened it, the controller seemed ok but I really have my doubts about that tee. Do you recommend a certain MBC?

Yes, gated = bleed. It took us forever to get it to work and it recently pooped out. Wasnt worth the effort. The turbonetics variable mbc is a bleed style and is about $50 on ebay

It comes with plugs. It lets you pick which way it mounts is all.

Yeah it almost looks like an air compressor pressure adjuster but I am sure the internals are different. I am picking up the audi tt DV tomorrow then I will pick up that turbonetics to lower my psi. Hopefully it works Thanks for all the help guys will keep you posted on progress. I still
