Question Which Pads/Rotors

I tore my front brakes apart today to figure out what was grinding only to find out my right front inner pad is down to nothing. Previous owner installed non-sensor pads and shorted out the sensor and they haven't squeaked until my 100 mile drive yesterday...

So anyways, I'm in need of new pads/rotors on the front. I know I'll be using Hawk HPS pads as they seem to get excellent reviews. Its just a matter of which rotors to use.

Plain Zimmerman's and Hawk HPS - $236.63
ECS Slotted and Hawk HPS - $267.43
Plain A8/TT upgrade with Hawk HPS - $380.53
Slotted A8/TT upgrade with Hawk HPS - $452.40

Im trying to justify the costs/performance upgrades of each. Which would you all suggest as a spirited daily driver?

3rd option unless you rly like the slotted look. don't worry about the sensors, they're worthless anyways, just another way for a company to take your money. plus if you don't have them, your car weighs a few ounces less hehe

If you don't care about the sensors (I don't use mine either) I have a set of front ECS Tuning Slotted Rotors and PBR Ceramic (no sensor) Pads for sale.

I bought them when I thought I had a bent rotor after a run in with a curb, but ended up being a bent control arm. So they were never installed, sitting in my garage. I currently have the same set up on my car and love em.

You can have em for a steal if you want.

I think the A8/TT upgrade makes a nice difference. You have to pay for the TT brackets upfront, but I beleive the A8 plain rotors are about the same cost as the A4s. So next time the replacement cost will not increase.

id go with the 2nd or 3rd option, normal driving the ecs setup is more than adequte, for something a bit more the A8 isnt bad either, but if brrman is giving you a deal on the almost the same thing id go with that, pbr pads arent bad pads at all and so far have been more reliable that the ebc greenstuff i had.
