guys i dnt wanna take it to a paint shop n get charged alot so i might as well do it myself. what can i do to fix these problems or at least wat products shud i use ? please help

You're out of luck, there's no way you'll be able to make any of that look even half-decent without a respray.

 

even if i buff it out put sum compund add primer n spray it myself "/ ?

 

I say try it yourself. You got nothing to lose.

For the quarter panels get a variable speed buffer and 3M Perfect-It buffing compound and finishing compound. The bumper covers will need sanding down and a respray, though. Keep the buffer at 1000-1200 RPM and remember to keep moving and watch your edges. Also, make sure you buy two separate heads for the buffer. That way you can make sure that buffing compound doesn't mix with finishing compound. Buff until it's fairly shiny then move on to finishing compound. If that doesn't work out you can also try sanding with 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper(wet) then move onto the buffing.

 

Buffing will only do so much, it'll make the quarter panel look nicer but nowhere near new. If you paint it yourself it'll look like ***, if you're ok with that then go for it, if not then don't waste your time and save up for a respray.

 

That's why I suggested wet sanding then buffing. Being that I'm a bodyman I know a thing or two about paint.

 

Ya ur not gonna get much knowledge on this past airguard he knows a thing or two especially about paint

 

your quarter panel looked similarly like mine.




Then I sprayed some clear coat on it and buffed it...


It aint perfect, but it is much much better than it was before.



Airguard probably knows best though. I would agree with him that just buffing it with the finishing compound might be sufficient enough for your quarter panel.
