paintin the bumper....

Default paintin the bumper....

anyone ever used those 8oz cans to paint a whole bumper. haha just wondering if thats too ghetto of a route to go or if its reasonable, like painting lowers.

ghetto. It's not going to look good no matter what anyone tells you. My brother bought some auto paint and used an air compressor and sprayer and it came out really nice. It also depends on if you can spray paint well.

yeah. its gunna b really hard to match the color exactly. if you can find it, remember you have to sand or at least scuff off all the clear coat on the bumper otherwise it will peel, probably by the end of the summer. your also gunna have to wet sand and polish other wise it will be covered with orange peel. but if you can match it perfectly, and you know how to wetsand and polish id say deff. go for it. the $10 is way better then the $100 or so it would be to havea shop do it. if you need any tips pm me i paint cars for a living.

if you have a shop near you that can mix paint, take off your gas door, bring it in for them to color match and do a custom mix and have them put it in a can for you. i priced it out at a shop near me to do my lowers and it's come out to about 60-80 bux with clear coating. it is harder but should come out ok
