So I'm painting the rims on my 2000 audi a4 1.8t quattro, and I got a new set of center caps because I'm missing one and some are faded but should I paint the center caps also or leave them unpainted. Btw painting the rims black.

 

If you're going black I'd leave them as-is.

 

alright, thanks. just didn't want to paint the caps and then have it turn out looking shitty.

 

try plasti dip. if you end up not feelin it, you can peel it off. it's pretty durable to for driving. check it out online, alot of people have done it and posted reviews and videos.

 

I painted the rings on my old center caps but left the rest the way it was.





You have to break the tabs holding the rings in but superglue will hold them in just fine.

 

kinda sweet. not feelin the inserts in the spokes being green though. wish they were just punched out instead of indented.

 

I might just do the same thing that you did accept with black.
