question: is the rear differential same for both automatic and manual transmission?

 

as far as i know, the rear differential is the same on both 5sp and auto.

The manual and tip dont have the same ratio, so the rear diff is going to be different.

This is why the rear diff has to be changed when doing a tip to manual swap.

Manual = 3.89
Tip = 3.73
