Default Passat Column Pod

Have any of you guys modified the Passat column pod to fit our Audis? If so, was a lot of work needed?

won't work. Different shaped base/column. Podi.ca or newsouth performance, depending on B5 or B6/7. I should know, I tried to fit my column pod from my B5.5 Passat on my B6 A4. No dice.

I don't know what you mean.. Other than electrical problems and the slowly dying original clutch, my car is in very good condition for 120K.

check out the podi.ca pods. They're in pre-release right now. The designer is seriously the MOST **** designer I've ever seen, and those pods are top notch. It was delayed for a couple of months because the fit was like 1mm off.

Podi. Do it!

Ya that 42 degrees company makes a sweet pod but no it does not fit the audi. i almost gambled and bought it anyways but decided not to. there just arent many options for the cars and those vent guages are just boring IMO

I plan on buying one of those cheap pilliar pods and just apholstering it myself, lay down some thin dense foaming and cover it with some suede or velour.. niiice! i actually forgot about that mod, im going to have to get back on it lol.

a couple of months ? it was supposed to be release LAST spring
iirc correctly they had 2 redesigns, 1 for color or texture or something, and the other for fitment

winston is nuts, but hes got my vote [up]

OH! haha, I wasn't sure if it was this march it was supposed to be released or last spring, whoops!

Those two redesigns sound right though.
