I found a shift **** from a 98-05 Passat and I was wondering if I could use it in my B5? I am pretty sure that the Passat shift **** is a clip type and ours is a screw type but I have also seen people say that B6 ***** can go on our B5s and they are slip type. Any help would be awesome.

 

not sure, i drove a jetta once and it had a reverse lock that you had to squeeze up into the shift ****, are the passats the same way? cause i dunno if that will work on our shifters.

 

No I don't think so, I think that it is just like the A4's. I know that its reverse is in the same spot as ours.

 

not sure about the passat but i know the B6 **** will fit, it hought it was clip type too but it just scred onto my car.
