Default PC-16 Exhaust Restictions

from what I can gather, the most restrictive part of the stock exhaust system is our Cat....

I was wondering....if I run a HFC, will i need full catback for a ko4 pc-16 setup?

thanks

I'm not positive but I think you need a full exhaust for the PC-16 to operate to its full potential. You could get away with stock though.

I ran a stock exhaust for a while when I had my A4. It was running the PC-16 file as well. I then put a 2.5 inch exhaust w/magnaflow 14816 muffler with the stock cat and it made a nice difference:

Some are recommended but IMO is not necessary. A HFC or a simple 2.5'' DP is all that is needed to shoot your exhaust out. Exhaust is the least of my concerns
