I've driven Audi's for over 500,000 miles. Never touched the PCV system, never had a blown motor, never had a sludge problem. Ask your "experts" how I managed that.

The crankcase ventilation control system, pcv, is there to stop pollutants from entering the air we breathe. Why don't you just repair what is broken? If it's a matter of money then save up. A system that is working properly will cause you no problems. The best solution is the easiest and that is to fix what's broken rather than wasting your time trying to figure out how to re-engineer a perfectly good system.

^^correct

The only reason to remove it is a neater look. No reason just to rip it out because one piece of it is failing.
