Performance Ignition Coils and Spark Plugs?

BKR7E if not chipped, BKR6E if chipped.
its the other way around. 7 is colder then 6. you want the 7E if chipped. 6E if stock. either will really work, its just slightly better for a chipped engine to go one heat range colder.

I thought so, my Chilton's manual recommends NGK BKUR6ET. What's the U and the T for in the manual's recommendation? Is there a difference between NGK BKR6E and NGK BKUR6ET?

Yes, the BKUR6ET is "OEM" and more expensive. Most of us are using the "cheap" version BKR6E or BKR7E with no problems. With turbo cars, 20K miles is a normal interval for plugs. Service manual says 40K miles, but by then, at least one is usually shot. Stick with the cheap ones. They work well and they are cheap!
