performance intake manifolds

i went with the evoheatshield because its made out of phenolic, 2 oem gaskets came with it, and it also comes with new longer bolts/brackets needed for the install. it costs a little more, but i think it was worth it, we'll see.

same kit from 034 for $57

ya it wont hurt your performance and if you can diy then i would deff do it.

so what Big Turbo, are you exactly going with that will cause you to push 4-500 + hp nessecary to make that stock intake mani restrictive ?

the gasket keeps the manifold cooler, as well as a tiny bit of perfomance. it doesn't make air less restrictive.

^there is no performance aspect to it, it cools the IM slightly but the head is still hot so cylinder temps are the same. its a waste of money IMO.

and kemp, you dont need a new IM even with a BT. with a BAT setup you will get decent gains.

if your still gettin one, INA (issam) makes a solid one

^ i will disagree with only to the point where people are happy with theres and has actual cooled the IM a noticable amount. but i will find out for sure in a couple days

i know these phenolic throttle body spacers mustang and other muscle cars use actually do drop air temps as well.
