hey guys, finally getting around to posting pics of the setup now that is car is down...

Did you get the turbo and other parts used, they look a little worn? What are you expecting for numbers? What software are you using and what other parts like injectors, exhaust ect...

 

keep us updated. i'm curious as what kind of numbers you'll get. If you can give us (me?) a full mod list and cost, that would be awesome. I'm deciding between this and a gtrs (possibly an eliminator).

 

What is on the intake tubing? That needs to go!

The intake tubing looks like a mixture of dryer hose and electrical tape.....

LOL.....actually, it is a self fusing tape on top of fiberglass and silicone. It is a 'custom' silicone tube. I took one of the 6' long foam pool toys, cut it up into the shape that I needed and made a silicone hose to custom fit this setup. Otherwise, there was no way to make the turn around the headlights.
As far as the parts being used, I actually purchased everything new, but it has been on the car for 9 months on the stock tune, then on the 550cc mika tune for a little while. But Im going standalone as we speak, and should have enough time to play with it next month.
As for the setup and mods list....that would be fairly extensive. But the major things are the t3t4 50 trim .63a/r, tial 38mm external wastegate, greddy type s bov, ebay fmic (works great), custom 3" turbo back exhaust(no cat or muffler), custom intake, walbro 255lph fp, ported im, custom log exhaust manifold, all 034 motor/tranny race mounts, sachs clutch w 8lb fidanza fw, ecs pulleys.....lots more.....etc.

As for numbers, with my old gtrs setup with stock cat/exhaust, I made 280awhp at 19psi with a stock smic. With this setup at 13psi on the mika 550cc tune, it was as fast as the previous setup. Ihope tomake 350awhp with 22psi and maybe water injection. It may take me a while to get that good of a tune though, as I am in my last semester of mechanical engineering and I am taking 5 regular classes, 1 graduate class and working 30-35hrs/wk. But as soon asI get some numbers you guys will be the first to hear about it.
Oh, I am building a megasquirt for tuning right now to go with siemens 60lb/hr injectors.

 

 

unless you run race gas or w/m, your not going to make 350awhp on 22psi. Its going to take atleast 25psi to get you there on pump. But dont forget that the turbo can do over 30psi. With the proper setup, you can reach 400awhp.
